About Evo Morales there is an enormous contradiction between what his biographers say and what the coca grower himself reveals. For example, his flatterers of Argentine progressivism describe him as a man of high intellectual abilities and great artistic talents. However, Evo's approaches to art are reduced to playing the trumpet in the Royal Imperial Band, a group whose musical capacity does not exceed the street bustle in the typical botched shops of the Oruro carnival, nothing very different from a murga or a bar. soccer.

But while his eulogists spent rivers of ink inventing talents, the coca grower himself confessed that his father bribed the teacher to avoid a grade failure. His actual words were: «I avoid you going to be with your companions. He was already enrolled in eighth grade without taking seventh grade. It cost him a lamb to make me skip a course.

However, the signs of lack of culture and ignorance do not end there. In 2013, on the occasion of the signing of a decree that reduced taxes on the marketing of books, she said, literally: «I have that problem. I do not like reading".

In short, Evo is not a man of books or artistic gifts, his true talent is the ability to organize terrorist and criminal acts. In fact, blocking roads and destroying Bolivia's economy was how he became president in 2005, although we cannot forget the help that Carlos Mesa gave him in October 2003. However, in this note we will focus on The Las Américas Hotel Massacre. .

On April 16, 2009, Bolivia woke up with the news of an exchange of shots between the elite corps of the National Police and a terrorist group made up of several foreigners.

As a result of the confrontation, the Hungarian-Bolivian Eduardo Rozsa Flores, the Romanian Árpad Magyarosi and the Irishman Michael Dwyer were shot dead, while the Bolivian-Croat Mario Tadic and the Hungarian Elod Toaso were taken into custody to the city of La Paz.

Evo, who was in Venezuela that day, confessed to his bosses (Hugo Chávez and Raúl Castro) that he ordered the operation to, in his words, "protect the homeland" from the separatist interests of the Santa Cruz oligarchy and, at the same time , stop an assassination attempt.

However, a few days later, the government began to launch contradictory versions, as they went from accusing the deceased of having been shot at by the police to assuming that they were the uniformed officers who used explosives, something that the national police commander Víctor Hugo Escobar.

Later, the experts concluded that the deceased were executed without having fired a single cartridge. In his book, Las Américas Hotel Massacre, Emilio Martínez states:

Far from being the "flagrant assault" that the government uses, the actions at the Hotel Las Américas were a precision operation, in the best Cuban style. The surveillance camera circuit was canceled and someone accessed the hotel's computer system, deleting the recordings from Tuesday the 14th, the day the foreigners arrived at the hotel. They also deleted Internet records, all without a court order.

In short, the police acted as mere cartel gunmen, but not as law enforcement officers and guardians of the laws.

In a desperate attempt to consolidate its narrative, the government even used Facebook photographs of an airsoft club to accuse young people from Santa Cruz of receiving training from the recently eliminated "terrorist" group.

The truth is that the coca grower got his way, since the Santa Cruz civic movement was beheaded and its most important leaders were locked up for several years, including Zvonko Matkovic.

The management of Jeanine Añez closed the case and allowed those unjustly accused to regain their freedom.

In 2022, already in the management of Arce Catacora and at the beginning of the internal dispute of the Movement Towards Socialism, the IACHR report was leaked, which indicated that the State committed extrajudicial executions and torture, in addition to abusing the figure of the pre-trial detention.

Two more years had to pass for the prosecutor's office to open an investigation case into the extrajudicial executions, for obvious reasons, Evo Morales and García Linera would be the main ones investigated. Evo, in a clear display of nervousness, first said that he would not appear in court, then accused García Linera of being responsible, since he was traveling on the day of the operation.

Will it be the end of Evo and his henchmen's reign of terror?

We do not know, but we should not be happy either, since everything responds to a battle between two criminal factions that intend to keep the loot of the State and control of the crime economy.
