Israel, defense of international peace and security, and generator of a global geopolitical change

Israel’s “Rising Lion Operation” against Iran’s theocratic dictatorship, motivated by Iranian aggressive stubborn insistence to build nuclear weapons, has a triple effect; it is a legitimate action of self-defense, defends international peace and security confronted with the paralysis of the United Nations’ system, and is a spark of global geo-political changes.

We are living through the “First Global War” that started with Russia’s invasion into Ukraine and the configuration of a bloc of dictatorships that back Russia; China, Iran, North Korea, dictatorships in the Americas and Africa, confronting those democracies that back Ukraine and sanction Russia. The second front of this “Global War” was opened in Gaza as a consequence of the terrorist attack backed by Iran against Israel and the expansion of these attacks by Hutty terrorist actions. With Israel’s bombing against Iran’s dictatorship, and Iran’s reaction, the third front has been opened that solely clarifies the permanent aggression of Iran against Israel.

The Global War is “the general confrontation in which the armed fight is solely comprised by specific parties in one or several geographic areas, but the strategic, political, economic, financial, technological, propagandistic, and of all type of effects, include all States and no-one is neutral.” Neutrality must have -as a minimum- two components that are impartiality and no participation, something that in a Global War does not exist because although the battle fronts are reduced to the actions of few armies or armed groups, not one State is impartial and all participate with actions that sustain, back, seek legitimacy for one, and sanctions the other.

In this 21st century, the global war has set the axis of confrontation to be dictatorship against democracy. It has clearly configured and structured the group of dictatorships, that has been repeatedly evidenced to be around, but not under, the command of Russia and includes; China, Iran, North Korea, Cuba with Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Bolivia, its para-dictatorial governments from Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, and Honduras, the African dictatorships from Congo, Uganda, Chad, Eritrea, Cameroon, Ecuadorean Guinea, and more, and terrorist groups such as; Hamas, Hezbollah, the FARC, ELN, and more.

Neither the dictatorial group, nor the democratic one, have a single command and this is one of the features that differentiates the Global War from the Cold War. In the Cold War the confrontation was between communism led by the Union of Soviet Socialist States (USSR) and capitalism led by the United States. The armed clashes, and high-toned declarations reflected those confrontations to be under the command of either the United States or Soviet Union. In the Global War the relations of Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea are not subordination but association, even if they, unilaterally, compete to control and subordinate actors from Latin America and Africa.

The United Nations Organization was created with the objective to “keep international peace and security, and towards that end take collective and effective measures to prevent and eradicate threats to peace, and to suppress acts of aggression or other breaching of peace,” but in a Global War its structure; with the United States, Great Britain, France, Russia, and China as permanent members of the Security Council, make it impossible to meet such an objective.

In this context, President Trump 47, does not cease to try to get a change in worldwide geo-politics that will end the on-going Global War of Russia’s invasion to Ukraine, seeking Russia’s removal from the axis comprised with China, Iran, and North Korea, trying to bring Russia as an ally of the West, and place a wedge in regard to China, an action that is clearly the reversal of actions taken by Nixon and Kissinger with China to stop the USSR, but Putin continues to resist. The sanctions imposed by democratic States against Russia because its invasion to Ukraine, have delivered the Russian market to China and the sustainment of the war has made Russia dependent on Iranian systems, on the deployment and participation of North Korean, Cuban troops, and on Latin American and African dictatorships that it sustains.

On the battlefront of Gaza, the Trump administration’s purpose is to also end that conflict, but Iran prevents it and Israel has opted to frontally fight against the author and financer of that and other conflicts. This is why Israelite actions against the theocratic regime, that we can now call the Israel/Iran war are operating to seek a global geopolitical change, weakening the Iranian support to Russia, decreasing, or stopping their support to terrorist groups, curbing the theocratic, cultural, and military expansion into Latin America and Africa, and placing in harm’s way and at risk the existence of the Ayatollahs.

Israel’s military actions can be the spark that ignites the desire for freedom of the Iranian and other peoples, because they are directed against the nuclear, terrorist, expansionist, threats of the theocratic regime, a brutal and bloodied dictatorship, full of money with which it attacks democracies and sustains crime. Israel has assumed -for its own security- the role that behooves to the United Nations system in its quest to “eliminate threats to peace and suppress acts of aggression.” All of this changes the worldwide geo-politics and can end the Global War by speeding up the ending of active fronts.
