The Interamerican Institute for Democracy finances its programs thanks to contributions and private donations. The work of the directors, directors and members is voluntary, and without remuneration.

Every contribution, however small, is important for the Interamerican Institute for Democracy, especially because it comes from those who share the principles and objectives of promoting freedom and democratic institutions in Latin America.

The Interamerican Institute for Democracy has 501 (c) status with the IRS (Internal Tax Service) of the United States of America, which allows donors to deduct from their taxes the contributions they provide.
