Academic Series

In March, the Institute will begin its series of monthly academic debates (9 in total for this year). These debates will focus on a specific piece of writing (book, essay, paper, article or other.) Guests will be given a copy of the text to be read prior to the event.

Each session will begin with one of the participants giving an outlined presentation of the assigned reading. Afterwards, the Institute’s Academic Director will act as moderator of the debate. The session will then conclude with a summary of the main points of agreement and dissent.
